The Sun Valley neighborhood is currently being redevelopment. This area falls along the banks of the Platte River is one of the most central neighborhoods in metro Denver. Though only 5% of the current resident are home-owners, those numbers will be changing. This neighborhood has a diverse population, with the cities largest population of new immigrants, who bring their own culture and flavor to the area.

In Sun Valley, you’ll want to start your day at EarthLink, a coffee shop who’s mission is to help those experiencing homelessness. Then, head over to Rude Park for a walk and a beautiful view of Denver’s skyline. If you’re into finding hidden treasures, check out Federal Indoor Flea Market. When you get hungry, go to The Original Brooklyn’s, a brick-lined neighborhood tavern with standard bar bites, live entertainment & a weekly happy hour.
