Named after the city’s 26th mayor, Speer is an up-and-coming neighborhood in Denver. In just the past year, there has been a 15% increase in single family home prices in the area. Also, the schools in this neighborhood are highly rated. It has easy access to Cherry creek and the Cherry Creek trail, which is perfect for a weekend bike ride.
What is there to do in speer?
In Speer, you can grab a morning coffee at Rosebud Cafe and then walk down the street to Parlor Doughnuts, for original layered doughnuts (including vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products). Then, grab your bike or take a walk down the Cherry Creek Bike Path, which goes right through the neighborhood. This area is also home to one of two Trader Joes in all of Denver! Though it’s more residential, this neighborhood is full of incredible restaurants, like Bon Ami, Angelo’s Taverna, and Cafe Byblos.
